Festival time is here! Soon the stage lights will dim as we begin the State of Louisiana AACT/Fest 2011. Jefferson Performing Arts Society in Metarie, LA has made preparations for theatre folk from all around the state to converge on them, bringing their best traveling show for the festival.

New Year’s Eve has always been a time for looking back at the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year. It is a time to reflect on the changes we want to make and resolve to follow through on those changes.
Those changes may include doing some new exciting things and some of those changes may be things that we have been putting off doing for years.

Picking a season? What shows will you do?
Whether you are a community, college, professional, presenting or high school theatre, everyone looks for the perfect season of shows. For those of you who have a 'school year' type of production schedule, you are off and running into your 2010/11 season. For those who are on a 'calendar year' schedule, your season will be finishing up soon. Hopefully most of you have already made the decision for your next season and have matched them up with the right director and crew.
